He was born on October 1, 1946 in Granite City, IL, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Wallace, Sr. He married JoEllen “Jody” Rubin in Springfield on Feb. 14, 1990.
Mr. Wallace served as Vice-President with Union Pacific Railroad. He was a member of Temple Israel and was a volunteer at Memorial Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife Jody Wallace of Springfield and other family and friends.
Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, Springfield. Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 1:30 pm at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield.
