She was born on March 11, 1934 in Litchfield, IL, the daughter of the late George and Ruby Bates. She married Robert D. Crouch and he preceded her in death on May 18, 1985.
Joyce enjoyed bowling and was in a Women’s League years ago. She also enjoyed playing Bunco and collecting dolls.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Debbie Denham of Alexander, IL and Sharon (husband Terry) Spencer of Pleasant Plains, IL; and a brother Harry (wife Mary) Bates of Missouri.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 5 sisters, Marie, Helen, Jackie, Fern, and Bonnie.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, Springfield. Private Graveside services will be held.
