She was born in Springfield on May 3, 1938, the daughter of Maurice and Marie (Serra) Tobin.
Judy graduated from Lanphier High School and began her working life at the Pantheon Theater, where she enjoyed popping popcorn alongside her sister, Patricia. She later worked for the State of Illinois before becoming an executive secretary for an attorney in Chicago. In her spare time, Judy loved traveling, gourmet cooking, flowers, high end shopping, and reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Michael J. Tobin.
Judy is survived by her sister, Patricia; one niece; two nephews; and several cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
Graveside service: 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Calvary Cemetery.
