Kaila was born March 20, 1964, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Patricia Jo Denny.
Kaila graduated from Southeast High School in Springfield, IL, class of 1982 and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from SIUE. She worked as a nurse navigator with the Sangamon County Department of Public Health.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, John Denny; and sister, Angie Liberty.
Kaila is survived by her mother, Patricia; husband, Robert; children, Dr. Kyleigh (John Herzig) Kirbach, Alexandria (Trey) Dhabalt, Paige (Earl) Greene, and Marc Kirbach; four grandchildren, Hudson and Zander Greene, Lennon Dhabalt, and Ellianna Herzig; and a brother, Larry Davis. Kaila loved her family, friends, and community with all her heart.
A Memorial Ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Hope Church, 3000 Lenhart Rd., Springfield, IL 62711.
