Kathleen "Casey" Conway Hagerman

Kathleen "Casey" Conway Hagerman, of The Villages, FL, formerly of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Hospice House, The Villages, FL. Casey was born October 9, 1942 in Springfield, the loving daughter of Pauline Brennan and Francis Patrick Conway, Jr. She was the beloved wife of Harry Eugene "Gene" Hagerman, Jr. for 33 years. Casey loved everybody and everybody loved Casey. Her love and devotion to her family, friends and Catholic faith was her life. After retiring from the Department of Human Services, State of Illinois, she and her husband, Gene moved to The Villages in 2003. She is preceded in death by her parents; loving aunt, Bessie Perry; brothers, James William Brennan, Francis Patrick "Dink" Conway III, and Joseph Conway; and sisters, Ellen Coleman and Jane Lokaitis. Casey is the mother of Patrick Conway Hagerman of Lady Lake, FL; step mother of Michael (Gail) Hagerman, of Schenectady, NY, Matthew (Dana) Hagerman of Sun Prairie, WI, and Jason and Joseph Hagerman of Springfield; sister of Paul (Mary Lou) Brennan, Thomas (Mary) Conway, and Donna (Bill) Hickerson, all of Springfield; beloved "Aunt Casey" to dozens of nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews; and the proud grandmother of Connor, Erik, Katie, Kyle, Grace, Sarah, Jamie, Landon and Evan. Cremation care was accorded in Florida. Mass of Christian Burial: 8:30 a.m. on Friday, July 18, 2014 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1351 Paige Place, Lady Lake, FL. Graveside Ceremony and interment: 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2014 in Calvary Cemetery, Springfield.
