Kathryne Jann, 83, of Springfield, died at 6:23 p.m. on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at St. John's Hospital. Kathryne was born December 4, 1930 in Gays, the daughter of Earl Reed and Lydia Elizabeth Frye Harrison. She married Leonard Jann on August 17, 1958 in Springfield. Kathryne worked as a LPN for five years at Mattoon Memorial Hospital in Mattoon, IL and worked for Memorial Medical Center in Springfield for 15 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Harrison. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Jann of Springfield; two sons, Christopher (wife, Mary Jo) Jann of Springfield and Stephen Cole of Windsor; one daughter, Deborah Fifield of Springfield, MO; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Earl (wife, Lois) Harrison of Champaign and Charles Harrison of Springfield, OR; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Graveside Ceremony: 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Camp Butler National Cemetery, with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating.
