Kelly Rae Brennan, 28, of Athens, formerly of Springfield, died Thursday, January 23, 2003, at St. John’s Hospice. She was born July 11, 1974, in Springfield, the daughter of John E. “Jack” and Elizabeth R. “Bette” Flynn Vetter. She married Michael William Brennan on October 7, 2000 in Springfield. Mrs. Brennan was employed by Kanoski and Associates as a Paralegal. She attended Christ the King Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her husband: Michael of Athens; two sons: Austin and Tyler Brennan at home; parents: Jack and Bette Vetter of Springfield; one sister: Shannon (husband, Rick) Shofner of Athens; several aunts and uncles, two nieces and one nephew. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home from 5-8:00 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2003. Funeral Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Reverend Peter Harman officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
