Kenneth D. Brewer, 74, of Springfield, formerly of Bloomington, passed away Sunday, February 5, at St. John’s Hospital. Kenneth was born March 19, 1937 in Bloomington, the son of Vernon and Gladys (Alvis) Brewer. He is survived by two brothers; David (Gloria) Brewer of Bloomington, and Russell (Carol) Brewer of CA. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Jean Brewer, son Bradley Brewer, brother Robert Brewer, and a sister Mary O’Neal. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 9 at 10 a.m. at Pleasant Plains Cemetery, on County Highway 10/Plains New Berlin Blacktop Rd. Rev. Vaughn Beeman will conduct the services.
