Kenneth Chilton Hart

He was born on Jan. 1, 1911 in Modesto, IL, the son of Dora McCurry Hart and Henry Oren Hart. On Oct. 25, 1936 he married Juanita Malson in Paducah, KY.

Mr. Hart was in the U.S. Navy and served in the Philippines during WWII. He was a member of the VFW and an active member of the local YMCA.Mr. Hart was a boilermaker for the Wabash Railroad and a Welder at Fiat-Allis.

He is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Pearson Blasing (husband, Joseph)of Aurora, IL, and Sue Poehlman (husband, Gene)of Springfield; five grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Hart in 2005; a son, Donald Hart; and brother, Oren Hart, Jr. in infancy.

Visitation will be 9 am until the funeral service at 11 am Monday, Aug. 18, 2008 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
