Kenneth E. Sheets

Kenneth E. “Kenny” Sheets, 91, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, at Memorial Medical Center. Kenneth was born August 30, 1921 in Springfield, the son of William and Agnes (Eaton) Sheets. He was a member of Ansar Shrine and Ansar Patrol, The Royal Order of Jester, a Mason, the Elks Club and of 1st United Methodist Church of Springfield. Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, AnnaLouise, sister-in-law Doris Jane Zanders (husband Theodore), brother-in-law James William Haigh (wife Christine deceased) 2 biological nieces Rita and Jean Ann, as well as 10 other nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 8, at 10:30 am Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E Allen St, Springfield IL 62703 with Rev. Michael Paulson of First United Methodist Church conducting the services, visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of services. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
