Lahne Earl Tisdale

He was born on January 12, 1945, in Peoria, IL, the son of Earnest R. and LaVonne A. (Wintersteen) Tisdale. Lahne married Linda F. Hahn on October 6, 2000, in Springfield, IL.

Lahne graduated from East Peoria Heights High School and was on the school’s wrestling team. He worked as a superintendent in the construction industry. Lahne was a member of Together Church since 2013. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, card games – especially Hand, Knee, and Foot, and playing poker with his golf buddies. Lahne never met a stranger and made it a point to know all his neighbors. He was known as helpful, loving, and generous.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Terry Tisdale.

Lahne is survived by his wife, Linda Tisdale of Springfield; sons, Jim (Lori Day) Tisdale of Chatham and John A. Tisdale of Oconee, IL; stepdaughters, Kim Corrigan and Rachel Kellum; granddaughter, Alexa Marie; sister, Karen (Bobby) Fowler; niece, Anne; and nephews, Eric and Mike Tisdale.

Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Together Church on North Grand, 225 N. Grand Ave. East, Springfield, followed by the ceremony at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Kip Troeger officiating.

Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center, following services.
