Larry K. Craft, 62, of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday, May 26, at Memorial Medical Center. Larry was born August 18, 1951, in Jacksonville, IL the son of the late Lawrence E. and Lucille (Knox) Craft. He married Linda Wheeler on October 5, 1974, at Chatham United Methodist Church. Larry retired as an operating engineer at the Coffeen Power Station for Ameren Illinois. He was a member of Ansar Shrine, he enjoyed working on, restoring, and taking his Dodge 1939 pickup truck to car shows. Larry was an avid fan of the St. Louis Blues, the Dallas Cowboys, rockabilly music, and Waylon Jennings
Surviving Larry is his wife Linda Craft, his children; L. Jason (Jia-Yee Tang) Craft of Chicago, Lyle (Aimee) Craft of Riverton, Lisa (Pete) Sander of Springfield, 5 grandchildren: Jeremy and Jordyn Craft, Josh and Nora Sander, and Simone Craft.
A casual graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014, at 11 am at Oak Ridge Cemetery, 1441 Monument Ave. Springfield, IL, 62702.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Larry's name may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
