She was born August 19, 1928 in Springfield the daughter of Louis and Alice Bergman Alwerdt. She married Raylee Walton and he preceded her in death in 1953. She married William Rose in 1957 and he preceded her in death in 1996. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Ladonna Pittinger
one grandchild and four brothers.
Mrs. Rose was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her sons, Kenny Rose (Phyllis) of Springfield and Jerry Walton (Suzette) of Cumming, GA; sister, Waneta Moore of Mechanicsburg; Step-son Wayne Rose (Teresa) of Indianapolis and step-daughter Gail Rector (James) of Sidney; five grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Friday November 9, 2012 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel from 9:00 AM until the time of services there at 11:00 AM with Pastor Darrell Debowey officiating. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Monday November 12, 2012 at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
