Lee Ann Laurenzana, 76, of Springfield, died September 21, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born January 31, 1932 in Beardstown the daughter of Ordice and Hilma Horner Lufkin. She married Joseph Laurenzana on August 2, 1971 in Mountain Home, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronald Lufkin; and sister, Patricia Kraus. Lee Ann had worked as a long distance telephone operator for Illinois Bell. She retired in 1974 after 16 years of service. Lee Ann is survived by her husband, Joseph; her son, Mark A. (wife, Kim) Roth; two grandchildren, Tyson and Sophie Roth; two sisters, Lorraine (husband, Jack) Marx, and Carol (husband, David) Droege all of Springfield; two brothers, Bud Lufkin of TX, and Wayne Lufkin of CO; and several niece, nephews, and cousins. Family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Robin Roth, officiating.
