

Leslie R "Les" Sebring, 87, of Springfield, died at 4:10 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011 at St. John's Hospital. Les was born February 8, 1924 in Berlin, IL, the son of Theo and Dorothy Davenport Sebring. He married Celia I. Kramzar on May 5, 1959 in Virden. She preceded him in death on May 13, 2007. Les served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He formerly owned Heather Acres campground near Litchfield for many years and worked in automotive sales for most of his life. He was a member of the Holiday Rambler Camping Club and enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening and camping. He was also preceded in death by his parents; sister, Vivian Pyle; step-son, Bill Kramzar and two grandchildren. He is survived by his son, Michael (Marilyn) Sebring of Sherman; stepchildren: Dwain (Audrey) Kramzar of Las Vegas, NV, Judy (Keith) Schnepp of Springfield, Linda (Dr. Guy) Photopulos of Memphis, TN and Gary (Terry) Kramzar of Kennet Square, PA; nine grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren; Visitation/Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the ceremony at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Douglas Avenue Methodist Church, 501 S.
