Rosalee was born on December 16, 1933, in Curran, the daughter of Stanley R. and Lillian L. (Sexton) Peecher. She married Robert D. Suttles, Sr. on April 2, 1953. He preceded her in death on August 5, 2002.
Rosalee was a lifelong resident of Curran and attended New Berlin High School. She was a former member of Curran United Methodist Church. Rosalee loved music and was a talented musician. She played guitar, piano, mandolin, and the fiddle. She also enjoyed antiques.
Rosalee was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Tyler Moore; four brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by her son, Robert D. (Cris) Suttles, Jr. of Curran; daughter, Cindy (Mike) Moore of Springfield; grandchildren, Cody Suttles, Dalton Moore, Austin Moore, and Mackenzie Stuva; three great-grandchildren; brothers, David and Tom Peecher; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside Ceremony: 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Woodwreath Cemetery, 16284 Old Jacksonville Rd., New Berlin, IL 62670, with Rev. Abraham Mogerman officiating.
The family is being served by Butler Funeral Home – New Berlin, 714 E. Gibson St., New Berlin.
