She was born in Springfield, IL, on January 29, 1949, to Marcus and Theresa Sharp.
Linda worked as a manager for Memorial Medical Center housekeeping.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus and Theresa Sharp; significant other, Bob Cary; sisters Cheryl Fenley, and Cindy Ross.
Linda is survived by her son, Kenny “Bammer” Whitmore; daughters, Missy Whitmore (Ralph Richno), Bobbie (Ben) Helton, and Angel Cary; proud Nana to, Brittany (Richard) Conn, Heather Whitmore, Jimmy (Amber) Whitmore, Lil Kenny Whitmore, Alex Croll, Michael (Brooklyn) Helton, Kyle Helton, Zak Whitmore, Jailei Beverly, Sienna Beverly, and Maddi Richno; great-grandchildren, Devin, Zoey, Tianah, Alyviah, Adrionna, Carlito, Kayden, Lawson, Atalyn, Nova, and Brayden, with one great-grandson on the way; great-great-granddaughter, Emersyn Conn, with three more expected; brother, Mike Sharp; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Bisch & Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen St., in Springfield, IL 62703.
Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park
