

She was born in Springfield on December 6, 1946, the daughter of John Wilson and Ann Elizabeth (Cox) Maberry. Linda married Charles “Butch” Pierceall on January 9, 1970. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2018.
Linda worked for Franklin Life Insurance for 40 years. She was a faithful member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. In her free time, Linda loved birdwatching, taking care of her garden, and traveling, especially to England and Scotland. She cherished her time with her family and pets.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and brother, John R. Maberry.
Linda is survived by her sisters-in-law, Linda Weidhuner, Martha Pierceall, and Sharon (Charles) Mester; nieces, Dena (Steve) Edwards, Angie (John) Hyde, Cindy Mester, Nikki (significant other, Tina) Baker, and Dawn (Chuck) Christensen; nephews, Scott (Amy) Weidhuner, Marshall (Stephanie) Christensen, Kevin (Mary) Baker, Mark (Elizabeth) Christensen, Curtis (Nancy) Baker, and Michael Pierceall; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorial Gathering and Mass of Christian Burial: Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 524 E. Lawrence Ave., Springfield, until the time of the Mass at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Daniel McGrath, celebrant.
Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Protective League or Helping Hands of Springfield.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
