Lisa Jo Armstrong

Lisa Jo Armstrong, 53, of Edinburg, passed away at her home on Thursday, April 30, 2015. Lisa was born on January 31, 1962, in Valparaiso, IN, the daughter of the late James and Katherine (Bunch) Mundy. Lisa was an avid animal lover, raising and caring for many different animals throughout the years. She especially loved horses; riding and training horses was a hobby she truly enjoyed.

Surviving Lisa are her children: Josh Nelson of Griffith, IN, James Armstrong of Atlanta, GA, Jakoby Armstrong of Virginia, IL, Chasity Armstrong of De Soto, IL and Cassandra Rapoport of Taylorville, IL, sister Sandra Johnson of Chesterton, IN, brother Mike (Catherine Marlowe) Mundy, of St. Louis, MO, 4 grandchildren, her nieces and nephew: Tammy Wilson of Chicago, IL, Angela Mundy of Charleston, SC, and Tracy Wilson of East Lafayette, IN, and a special friend and companion Steve Rapoport.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch & Son Funeral Home 505 E Allen St. Springfield, IL, 62703. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Saturday, May 9, 2015, from 2-4 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded by Bisch & Son Funeral Home at a later date.
