Lisa Michele Gary

She was born on November 18, 1972, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Samuel and Linda (Meizler) Rosenberg. Lisa married Paul Gary on February 14, 1997, in Springfield.

Lisa graduated from Southeast High School and earned her associate’s degree from the Capitol Area Career Center (CACC) LPN program. She went on to work as a nurse for home health, nursing homes, and Dr. Sunil Balsal’s occupational health office. Lisa was a member of the Temple Israel synagogue. She enjoyed listening to BTS,cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and the Pittsburg Steelers, and loved to bowl when she was younger.

She was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Trudy Gary; and beloved dogs, Bingo and Lucky.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Paul Gary of Pawnee; children, Jaymz (Skye) Gary of Springfield, Karli (Sean) Koen of Auburn, Laken (Steven) Weakley of Springfield, Tristen (Lucy) Gary of Troy, Sierra (Tanner) Gary of Bloomington, and Joie Gary, Anthony (Ella) Gary, Abryanah Gary, and Jaykub Gary, all of Springfield; grandchildren, Sophia Weakley, Norah Koen, Nora Coleman, Jackson Koen, Arabella Dinardo, Jayce Gary, Penelope Dinardo, and Ezra Gary; brothers-in-law, Michael (Missy) Gary and Pete Gary of Springfield; aunt, Beth (Ed) Sadoff of Farmington Hills, MI; and beloved dog, Milo.

Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
