Lloyd W Schneider

Lloyd was born July 30, 1931 in St. Charles, MO, the son of George and Amanda Fine Schneider.

Lloyd was employed by Firestone for 35 years. He was a member of the Rotary Club South for 50 years and the Men’s Club at Laurel United Methodist Church. He enjoyed bowling, doing carpentry work, and collecting antiques.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Bruce.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carol of Springfield; son, Terry (wife, Regina) Schneider of OK; daughter, Judy (husband, Robert) Meyer of NC; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers; and one sister.

Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.

The family will host a Memorial Ceremony at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Laurel United Methodist Church, 631 S. Grand Ave. West, Springfield with Rev. Dr. Kent Lolling officiating.
