Loie & I worked together at State Employees' Retirement System from 1970-74 & became very close friends . We were born 20 yrs & 4 days apart. Our first marriages, both of which ended in divorce, took place 20 yrs & 4 days apart. Just an interesting tidbit.
Since I will be 70 in a few days I thought about Loie since she would be turning 90. Now I see that she has passed.
Loie had a wonderful sense of humor & maintained an open way of looking at & enjoying the world. Her family was the most important thing in her life.
I remember her most fondly. ❤ Rest in Peace.
