She was born Aug. 15, 1915, the daughter of Dan and Nora Croney. Lois married her first husband, Paul Pommert. He passed away from Hodgkin’s disease. She later married Joseph Griffin. He also preceded her in death.
Lois was an administrator for state of Illinois.
She is survived by a grandson, Todd Yonteck; a granddaughter, Melissa Yonteck; and two great grandchildren, Catrina and Kristen.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Pleasant Plains Cemetery.
Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.
