Lois May Juranek

She was born on April 20, 1927 in Wauwatosa, WI, the daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Steltz) Landolt. She married Richard H. Juranek on June 20, 1953 in Wauwatosa, WI and he preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 2001.

Mrs. Juranek was a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI and worked as a speech therapist and later became a travel agent. She enjoyed playing bridge, travelling, playing tennis and golf, and reading.

She is survived by 3 sons, Robert H. (wife Carole) Juranek of Springfield, Paul R. (wife Dona) Juranek of Brentwood, MO, and Jeff B. (wife Angela) Juranek of Los Angeles, CA; and 4 grandchildren, Neil Juranek, Evan Juranek, Chandler Juranek, and Kami Juranek.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Richard, James, and Robert Landolt.

Services are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd., Springfield. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 10 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Springfield, with Father Jeff Grant officiating.
