

Lonnie was born on January 13, 1944 in Hillsboro, IL, the son of Lamar E. and Norma Jean Blackwelder Caulk. He married Barbara L. Hartley on January 17, 1995 in Las Vegas, NV.
Lonnie was a graduate of Hillsboro High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business from Sangamon State University. Lonnie proudly served in the United States Navy. He worked for Fiat Allis for 22 years, was a volunteer firefighter in Irving, IL, and later worked for the State of IL. Lonnie later drove a truck for Arkansas Best Freight and Active USA. He enjoyed riding his Harley, deer hunting, gardening, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Shane; his parents; one brother, Larry Caulk; and nephew, Lance Caulk.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara L. Caulk of Springfield; one daughter, Stacey (Ted Wilkins) Warcup of Springfield; three grandchildren, Colin Douglas, Carleigh Renee, and Ireland Faith; five siblings, Lynn (Sharon) Caulk, Loren (Karen Summers) Caulk, Leslie (Connie) Caulk, Lance (Kenda) Caulk, and Leora (Jim) Jones; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.
Graveside Ceremony: 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Olive Hill Cemetery in Coffeen, IL with Loren Kunz officiating. Military honors will be provided by the department of defense.
