Louise Richardson Fitzgerald

Louise Richardson Fitzgerald, 90, of Springfield, died at 6:47 p.m., Saturday, September 4, 2004 at St. John’s Hospital. Louise was born August 6, 1914 in Round Lake, IL the daughter of George and Anna Pfannenstill Richardson. She married Austen William Fitzgerald in 1938 in Round Lake, IL; he preceded her in death September 21, 1992. Mrs. Fitzgerald was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers: George Jr., Oliver, Leo and Delbert Richardson and one sister: Helen Smith. She is survived by four sons: A. Dennis (wife, Mary) Fitzgerald of Myrtle Beach, SC, Raymond A. (wife, Lynn) Fitzgerald of Fontana, WI, Bruce R. (wife, Ida) Fitzgerald of Zion, IL, Patrick M. (wife, Janice) Fitzgerald of Springfield; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one sister: Elizabeth Wagner of Phoenix, AZ and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1725 S. Walnut, Springfield, with Rev. Msgr. Kevin Vann celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Home, 3305 S. 6th St. Rd., Springfield, IL 62703.
