Louise McCue

Louise McCue, 96, of Springfield, passed away at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Sunny Acres in Petersburg. Louise was born December 25, 1919 in Springfield, the daughter of Louis and Minnie Crim Anderson. She married Charles "Chuck" McCue, Jr. on February 14, 1942. He preceded her in death on May 1, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Charles J. McCue III in 1949. Louise was a graduate of Feitshans High School. She was a member of Church of the Little Flower. Louise worked as a supervisor of data entry at Sangamo Electric. She is survived by sons, Kevin McCue of Escondido, CA and Kenneth (wife, Beverly) McCue of Petersburg; six grandchildren, Connie (husband, Ben) Berg, Rita and Danny (wife, Shae) McCue, Allison (husband, Steve) Lachance, Mark (wife, Chasity) McCue, and Luke McCue; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation and Funeral Mass: Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Church of the Little Flower, 800 Stevenson Dr., Springfield with Rev. John Nolan, celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
