I knew Louise long ago from the Depression Glass Club. She was always gracious and kind. Condolences to her loved ones.

Along with Louise, I was involved in the Lincoln Land Depression Era Glass Club many, many years ago.  We club members always enjoyed getting together and visiting with her in her home and admiring her many collections.  I especially enjoyed her collection of Lady Head vases since I collected those myself.   There is nothing like sharing a similar interest with friends.   My sincere condolences to her family.

I have many fond memories of Aunt Louise, the super awesome Barbie doll clothes that she sewed or knit for me, my Barbies were Fashion Divas thanks to her eye for design and expert sewing skills, the extensive collection of beautiful Depression glass that filled her house, tremendous irises that grew in her gardens and the trip that she accompanied me and my mother on when we traveled to Mississippi so I could see my boyfriend who was stationed in Biloxi. Needless to say, I was not thrilled to have either one of them chaperoning this trip but I was only 17 and, in the end, we all had a great time exploring the Deep South.  
Aunt Louise was a women of many talents and great strength that I didn't come close to understanding until many years later in life. She had a successful career, single handedly raised 5 wonderful human beings, nurtured many grandchildren and nieces and nephews and pursued her interests with a passion. She will be missed but her impact on the lives of many will be felt for many generations to come. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her children, my first cousins, and those friends and family members that loved her dearly.

Louise was an active member of our Red Hat Society group, the Y-NOT.  She remained with our group as an Honorary member. She will always be remembered. We loved it when she would have use at her house for lunch, when she was not as able to go out. Please accept our condolences from all the ladies of our red hat group.

Sending my prayers and sympathy to my cousins and your families.  It was always a joy to visit Louise when I came home.  You all were her pride and joy, and she shared your stories with me often.  My love to you.

I only knew Louise the past few years from the Lincolnlander's 56 Collectors Club. I was amazed at her outlook on life and loved her stories of her life. She truly taught me to have a meaningful life. Your family should be proud of such a wonderful woman.  I am sure she will be missed.

She enjoyed coming to the Thursday morning hymn sings. She was greatly loved. We will miss her. Our hearts go out to you at this time. Your Concordia family.
