She was born on October 4, 1927 in Findlay, IL, the daughter of the late John Terry and Ethel Mae (Florey) Atkinson. She married Harold Laszlo and he preceded her in death.
Lucille had worked as a nurse at Illinois Central Hospital and the Evangelical Hospital, both in Chicago, IL and later worked at a hospital and various nursing homes in Arizona. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and she loved to sew.
She is survived by her daughter Maxine Solkey of Springfield; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 3 children, Eugene Solkey, Barbara Solkey, and Phillip Solkey; a brother Olin; and 3 sisters, Mildred, Elsie, and Opal.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield. Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded. No services are scheduled at this time.
