Lynn Edward Neff Sr.

He was born on March 2, 1942, in Springfield, IL, the son of Albert and Murel (Owen) Neff.

Lynn graduated from Springfield High School, and went on to attend Missouri State University, where he earned his B.A. in Business. In 1959, he was a member of the High School Basketball State Championship team, a proud accomplishment that reflected his dedication and competitive spirit.

Lynn was the co-owner of Hollis, Neff, & Bomke Insurance Agency, where he was known for his intelligence, strong work ethic, and genuine character. He had a wonderful sense of humor and, above all, was a devoted family man who cherished the time he spent with those he loved.

Outside of work and family, Lynn enjoyed listening to jazz music, keeping his cars spotless, reading, and taking scenic drives. He will be remembered for his hard work, humor, kindness, and the love he had for his family and the simple pleasures in life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Murel.

Lynn is survived by his children, one daughter and one son; six grandchildren; one great grandson; and one stepbrother.

Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
