I lived across the street from the David family since 1956. Janet is the sister I never had. Walt and my dad, Marshall McQuinn, laughed about who would claim Janet and me on their income tax forms as a dependent. Mabel always told it like it was..she has been my mom for the last few years as my mom has Alzheimers. Our families spent MANY hours together as neighbors on Salem Road...rest in peace, Maboo!!! Love You, Karen McQuinn Grant

Mabel was one of the best people it has been my pleasure to meet, She was my co-worker when I began at Revenue way back in 1977 and showed a scared 22 year old the ropes she will be missed so sorry for your loss.

To all David family members, Aunt Mabel's outstanding legacy is beyond words, will always be missed and will never be forgotten. In an attempt to give you comfort & peace during these delicate times I'm compelled to share a Helen Keller quote I discovered months after the passing of my mother: "What we have once enjoyed we can NEVER lose. All that we LOVE becomes a part of us." I hope this is helpful in your grieving process & soothes wounds which surface during it so healing occurs sooner than your expectations.
