Margaret P. Burns, 93, of Springfield, died at 7:10 a.m. Sunday, December 21, 2003 at Heritage Manor. She was born June 13, 1910 in Gatliff, KY, the daughter of John and Bridget Conlon Burns. Margaret was a graduate of Ursuline Academy and attended Springfield Junior College. She was a former member of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish and a current member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and three brothers. She is survived by several cousins. Funeral Mass will be at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Rev. Msgr. John R. Ossola celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Ursuline Academy, 1400 N. 5th Street, Springfield, IL 62702 or the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 524 E.
