Margaret Maxine Desautels

She was born January 19, 1916 the daughter of John A. and Lillian Morey Mauer. She married Anatole P. “Des” Desautels in 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1963. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Dunn, 2 grandchildren, 2 brothers, and a sister.

Maxine worked for Montgomery Ward, Myers Brothers, and then retired in 1981 after 23 years of service from the State of Illinois as a Micro Film Operator. She was a member of Westside Christian Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are her 2 daughters, Marie Callahan of Springfield and Connie (husband Jerry) Blissett of Riverton. She has 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Cremation Rites will be accorded by the Bisch Crematory. Services will be private
