

Margaret Mary Hindman, 65, of Springfield, died at 9:14 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, 2006 at her residence. Margaret was born on October 23, 1940 in Springfield, the daughter of Thomas Bernard and Mary K. Lavin Casey. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and St. Louis University. She was a homemaker and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by: her parents and three brothers: Bernard A. Casey, John J. Casey and Edward Casey. She is survived by two sons: Douglas Hindman, Jr. of Littleton, CO and John Clell Hindman of San Diego, CA; one daughter: Mary Kathryn “Kitty” Whitley of Littleton, CO; four grandchildren; four brothers: Rev. Thomas J. Casey, S.J. of St. Louis, MO, Robert I. Casey of Brookfield, WI, James A. Casey of Kingwood, TX and Richard P. Casey of Aurora, IL and one sister: Anne M. Cody of Glendale, MO. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Prayer service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home. A Concelebrated Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1725 S. Walnut, Springfield, with Rev. Thomas Casey, S.J. principal celebrant and Rev. David J. Hoefler concelebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
