Margaret Bertha ''Maggie'' Maxwell, 88, of Springfield, died Friday, February 8, 2002 at her residence. Margaret, a lifelong resident of Springfield was born May 31, 1913, the daughter of John & Berta Lopian. She married John Emerson Maxwell October 1, 1932 in Springfield. Margaret was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She is survived by her husband, John Emerson Maxwell of Springfield; a son, Bob (Wife, Sue) Maxwell, Fort Myers, Florida; a daughter, Sharon (Husband, Gene) Hill of Springfield; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a brother, Fred (wife, Sally) Lopian of Hemit, CA The family of Margaret ''Maggie'' Maxwell is being served by Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 South 6th Street, where friends may call from 5-8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 11, 2002. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2002 with Rev. Michael Strong officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
