She was born in Springfield, June 15, 1922 the daughter of Cyril and Gwen Mullen Rourke. She married George Gus Kerasotes in 1947 and he preceded her in death in 2001. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Kerasotes and 3 brothers, Cyril,Jr., Jim and John Rourke.
Mrs. Kerasotes was a graduate of Lanphier High School. She was an active member of St. Anthony's Hellenic Orthodox Church and Illini Country Club. She was an avid golfer and a loving mother and wife.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth Kerasotes of Duck River, TN.; a brother, Conrad( wife, Lenore)Rourke of Jacksonville and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
the family is being served by Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel where friends may call friday from 5 to 7:00pm with a trisagion service at 7:00pm. Services will be held 11:30 AM Saturday Jan. 6, 2007 at St. Anthony's Hellenic Orthodox Church with Rev. Anthony G. Tzortzis officiating. Interment will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
