Marjorie H. Walker

Marjorie was born December 13, 1939, in Farmersville, IL, the daughter of Melvin H. and C.M. Margaret Allen Walker.

She graduated from Girard High School. Marjorie worked as an administrative assistant for Graham and Hyde Architects for many years. She enjoyed bowling, working in her yard, volunteering for the LPGA local tournaments, traveling, and spending time with her beloved dogs.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Stacy Reynolds.

She is survived by her twin sister, Margaret (Ray) Serati of Springfield; brother, Donald (Barb) Walker of Butler, IL; sister, Dorothy (Fred) Fillback of Batchtown, IL; nine nieces; one nephew; eight great-nieces; 12 great-nephews; and her beloved dog, Max.

Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.

Memorial Gathering and Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, IL. A Memorial Ceremony will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating.

Private family burial will be held at Girard Cemetery.
