Mark Spiro Adams, 48, of New York City, formerly of Springfield, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Sloane Ketterling Hospital in Manhattan, New York. Mark was born August 14, 1968 in Springfield, the son of Don "Doc" W. and Jane Fulkerson Adams. Mark was a 1987 graduate of Griffin High School, later attending Arizona State University. He worked for the State of Illinois, Central Management Services. He was very technologically savvy, and enjoyed working on computers. He was a loving son and brother. He was preceded in death by his father, Don "Doc" W. Adams; and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Jane Adams Andrews of Springfield; two brothers, Donald (wife, Jade) Adams of Springfield and David Adams of Salisbury; sister, Jane (husband, Tim) Adams Hibbs of Springfield; two aunts; one uncle; many nieces and nephews; and five cousins. Private family ceremonies were held.
