Mary Sue Dahlkoetter, 77, of Chatham, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022, at Springfield Memorial Health Center after a short illness. Mary Sue was a retired employee of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; two sisters; and one brother. She will be greatly missed by her special friends; especially her sister, Kathryn Huff; sister-in-law, Deanna Patton; and niece, Lisa Huff.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Paul Patton and Mary Anna Owens Patton; two brothers, Glen Russell and Bryon (Kenny); and sister, Nancy Grace.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with an announcement to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be directed to your favorite charity.
