She was born in Evanston, IL June 30, 1936 the daughter of James and Mary (Donahoe) Fry. She married Harland Hector Feb. 14, 1969 and he preceded her in death in 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Mary retired from Illinois Bell after years of service.
Surviving are her two sons; James (wife Terri) McKenna and Jerald (wife Sandra) McKenna both of Springfield. There are four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother James (wife Martha) Fry of Tempe, AZ.
Cremation Rites will be accorded by the Bisch Crematory with private services at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may direct memorial contributions in her name to the American Heart Association.
