Mary "Beth" Bormida Jordan, 73, of Standard City, passed away at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2016 at St. John's Hospital. Mary was born September 24, 1942 in Girard, the daughter of Joseph and Esther Brubaker Bormida. Mary was a member of South Side Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Joseph Bormida, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Annette M. Jordan; two brothers, Gary Bormida and Ronnie Bormida; and one sister, Shirley Bormida, all of Standard City; as well as one niece; one nephew; two great-nieces; and many cousins. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering and Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial ceremony at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at South Side Christian Church, 2600 S. MacArthur Blvd., Springfield, with Pastor Brooks Wilson officiating. A private family burial will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to: South Side Christian Church, 2600 S.
