Mary Alice Krell

She was born September 8, 1920 in Springfield the daughter of Edward P. and Emma J. Sonderhausen Smith. She married Walter Krell and he preceded her in death in 1998.

Mrs. Krell was employed by Country Companies Insurance for over 20 years. She was a life member of the Hayes-Krell Military Order of the Purple Heart Auxillary, Disabled American Veterans Auxillary, Springfield Women's Club and the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by five sons, Gary Lee Krell of Dallas, TX., Forrest Dean(wife,Cheryl) Krell of Girard, Danny Joe Krell of Springfield, Tim Edward(fiance, Gloria J. Munday) Krell of Springfield and Ted Walter(wife, Jeannie) Krell of Rowlett,TX.; sister, Eloise Steele of Springfield; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family is being served by Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel where friends may call Friday from 5 to 7:00pm and where services will be held 10:30am Saturday Dec. 16,2006 with Dr. Roger K. Rominger officiating. Graveside services will be held 1:00pm Monday Dec. 18, 2006 at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
