Mary C. Santini

Mary C. Santini, 91 of Springfield, died at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at Oak Terrace Healthcare Center. Mary was born July 16, 1911 in Springfield, Vermont, daughter of Victor and Antoinette Bernardi Auricchio. She married Richard J. Santini in 1932 in New York and he preceded her in death on October 14, 1986. Mary was previously a member of Church of the Little Flower. She loved dancing, gardening, sewing, cooking and entertaining. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one grandson: Mark Dalsin. She is survived by one son: Joseph R. Santini of Springfield, two daughters: Dodie Scott and Rosemarie (husband, Thomas) Giacomini both of Springfield, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2003 at Blessed Sacrament Church with Rev. Msgr. Kevin Vann, celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Martin de Porres, 1301 S. Martin Luther King Dr., Springfield, IL 62703 The family of Mary C.
