Mary Jane Walsh, 88, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2001 at Lipes Private Care Hope in Springfield. Mary Jane was born August 21, 1913 the daughter of William and Helen O’Brien Walsh in Springfield. Mary Jane worked as an assembler for Sangamo Electric and she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers: William, James, Jerome, Robert, John, Franny, Ted; one infant brother and one infant sister. She is survived by one sister: Margaret Dickerson of Springfield; one niece: Mary Elaine (husband, George) Lane of Springfield; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home from 4-7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 29, 2001 with a wake service at 4:00 p.m.. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2001 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Reverend Daniel Nolan C.S.V. celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
