Mike and I were good friend back in the high school and early college days...we hitchhiked to Daytona Beach, and back during spring break, took my old 64 Chevy Bel Air from Springfield to Florida ,to New Orleans across TX to the California coast and back thru Colorado and hung out i in Springfield.
He was a free spirit, good friend, and a great guy.
I've been away from Springfield since leaving college and now live in Tx...my sister still lives in Springfield and sent me the news.
My sincere condolences to his wife , children and the entire family.
