Mr. Hale is survived by his sister, Pam (Gary) Eicken of Auburn, IL, nieces Dallas and Jace Eicken, uncle and aunt JR and Sue Marchiando, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ron Hale.
Michael worked as a laborer and retired from the Carpenters Local 16/270. He was an honorary member of the Anchor Boat Club. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, going boating, fishing, and playing pool.
Cremation rites were accorded.
Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen, Springfield, where visitation will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, Springfield.
