Michelle A. Kendall Donovan

Michelle was born May 30, 1973 in Springfield, the daughter of Raymond Kendall and Cathy Roth Davis. She married Joseph Donovan in Springfield.

Michelle was a homemaker and raised three beautiful children. She also worked as a waitress. She was known for her generosity, caring for others, and being compassionate. Michelle was also very artistic and loved animals.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cathy Davis.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Donovan; son, Corey Donovan of Springfield; daughters, Kaylee and Celsey Donovan, both of Springfield; grandchildren, Ayla Donovan and Ciara Black; brother, Matthew Kendall of Springfield; father, Raymond (companion, Rita Williams) Kendall; two step-dads, William “Bill” Bonnett and Chuck Davis; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; four sisters-in-law, Chris Austin, Connie Vaughn, Kathy Pasley, and Tracey Donovan; and her three loving dogs, Bandit, Bella, and Bonnie.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Home, 800 South Grand Ave. West, Springfield, IL 62704.

Funeral Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Home with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
