

Mildred E. Allison, 85, of Pekin, formerly of Springfield, IL and Cape Girardeau, MO died at 1:50 a.m., Friday, August 15, 2003 at Pekin Manor in Pekin, IL. Mildred was born February 28, 1918 in Cape Girardeau, MO, daughter of Abner D. and Rosa Milfelt Parker. She married Hugh L. Allison in Springfield; he preceded her in death on January 29, 1987. Mrs. Allison was a homemaker and a member of Church of the Little Flower in Springfield. She had participated in Arts and Crafts Fairs in the area, exhibiting her copper enameling artwork. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son: John Allison in 1983, two brothers, Alton and Bill Parker and two sisters: Estelle Edmundson and Dorothy Crowe. She is survived by her son; Raymond (wife, Janet) Allison of Pekin, six grandchildren: Steve Allison, Barbara Macy, Theresa Olsen, Julie Craghead, John Allison and Erin Allison; nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 4-7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 17, 2003 with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2003 at Church of the Little Flower with Rev.
