

Mildred E. Denson, 70, of New Berlin, passed away at 7:32 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. Mildred was born September 3, 1942 in Curran, the daughter of Stanley R. and Lillian Sexton Peecher. She married Paul Denson on August 5, 1961 in Springfield. Mildred was a wonderful person, a perfect wife, and a perfect mother. She was known for being a very loving and caring person, who never met a stranger. She enjoyed cake decorating, mushroom hunting, antiquing, and painting, but more than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved family. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margie Finn; brothers, Raymond, Haldean, Gaylan, and Clarence Peecher; and grandson, John Kaydus. She is survived by her husband, Paul Denson of New Berlin; one son, David (wife, Meg) Denson of Springfield; one daughter, Lea (husband, George) Kaydus; grandchildren, Nikki and Abby Kaydus, and Ryan and Sarah Denson; and her siblings, Wilma Bly, Rosalee Suttles, Thomas Peecher, and David Peecher. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 9:00a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at McCullough-Delaney & Butler Funeral Home, 714 E. Gibson St., New Berlin. Funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Vaughn Beeman officiating. Burial will follow at Woodwreath Cemetery.
