Mildred Ruby Hauser-Ramsay, 77, of Springfield, died at 4:20 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2005 at her home. Mildred was born on July 6, 1928 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Louis Leonard and Mildred Ruby Hauser. She was employed by the State of Illinois Department of Mental Health. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she was the organist and pianist. She was also a member of MENSA, Book Writers Club and Music Club. She is survived by two sons: D. Alan (wife, Katherine) Binder of Brawley, CA, Mark A. Binder of Springfield; four grandchildren: Brian (wife, Charlotte) Binder, Russell (wife, Amanda) Binder, Derek Binder and Arianne (husband, Brad) Kuennen; and one sister: Harriett (husband, Herb) Meierdirks of Northbrook, and seven great grandchildren. Cremation accorded by Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2005 at Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield with Bishop Jeff Gough from Springfield 1st Ward officiating.
